02.07.2009 : Sam Purnell wrote Since I moved to Bristol twenty-odd years ago John's has been a part of my life and that of my friends. Even though I haven't seen John for a couple of years I'm very saddened by this news, I can only imagine how much his family will miss him.

It was always a pleasure to be around John, whether it was as a customer of his, or tables turned, looking after him and Janice at The Blue Goose,

I'd like to thank John for many a chilled out Sunday, spent with friends and filled with laughter.
