WHATELEY Michael John (Mike) Remembering Mike who was taken on October 26th, 2006 (aged 65 years) after a cruelly short illness, borne so bravely and with characteristic stoicism at home, surrounded by love and his family. Devoted and treasured Husband of Sheila , adored precious Dad to his children of whom he was so proud, Sarah, Adam and Anna, loved and respected by Sonia, Neil and Shaun. Wonderful 'Bamps' to his sweet Granddaughter 'The Lady Rose' who loved him so much. Known by many at Bideford College, French Twinning Friends, Lenwood Squash Club and latterly by Torridge Volunteer Drivers. Thank you for the special care, attention and concern given to Mike by Dr. Robin Buckland and thanks to NHS Team who were involved. A family cremation will be held on November 3rd, 2006 at Barnstaple, followed by a Thanksgiving Service, 12.00 noon at Torrington Baptist Church where all are welcome.
