WEATHERALL Darren 19/11/2005 Something reminds me, I never know when, And once again, I feel the pain, It's said times a healer, I'm not sure this is true, There's not a day goes by Son, That I don't cry for you. Love you forever, Mum xxx
I only recently heard you had passed on mate, I have thought about you quite often and had a smile at some of our adventures! You were a 'one off' alright and I'm sure we'll have a beer when I see you next. God bless.
Well you did you like a twist to the end of a movie, but this was one ending you'd never of guessed. One song whose lyrics you'd never of had time to sing. You grew up with The Jam & The Beatles, a fitting backdrop to a life lived with a mix of “rock n' roll" and "cinematic" moments. "Thick as Thieves" we were in many ways. The trip to Paris (with no money) and to Greece (with no money!). The Jam at Wembley. The weekly adventures to C4's White Room and blagging into the VIP bar. 3-1 against Spurs at Highbury after extra time. The nurses of Great Ormond Street. The time a tourist thought you were a ringer for Elvis (how you loved that!).The school trip to Boulogne. The nights out in Edinburgh. Growing up with Camden, The Angel and the West End as our playground. Best and worst of it at school. The flat in East Finchley. And of course, the fall outs! You were a gentleman and a rogue; charming and disarming. Annoying and fun. But most of all you were a friend. You will never be forgotten Darren and I miss you - my friend.
