Barbara Edith, aged 73 years passed away peacefully, after a long, long, illness borne with courage, fortitude and dignity at Lindsey Lodge Hospice, Scunthorpe on January 5, 2006, dearly loved wife of Ro, much loved mother of Shirley, David, John, Mary and the late Helen, dear mother-in-law of Andy, Pru, Tina and Nick, much loved grandma of Rosie, Ben, Amy, Ben, Poppy, Emma, Simon, Andrew, Francesa, Emmeline and Florry, much loved great-grandmother of Holly, loving sister of Ann and brother-in-law Jim.

She was a friend to everybody, Barb was my wife, Barb was my life, Barb was my world, may she rest in peace.

Service at St. Lawrences Church, Scunthorpe on Monday January 16, 2006, at 12.45pm, followed by committal at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe. Family flowers only please, but if so desired a donation in lieu may be sent to Lindsey Lodge Hospice, c/o Miss. H. Mullineux, 37, Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe. Now resting peacefully, in the care of J. Naylor, Funeral Directors, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe.

At Barbara's request formal dress is not required.
