Officer who died in the line of duty.

Died of multiple injuries sustained while reporting for night shift duty, when his motorcycle was in collision with a car, coming in the opposite direction, at Kent Gateway, Addington. Berin's funeral was held in his home town of East Malling. He had just completed one years service, having previously worked as a security guard, and was attached to Croydon borough police.
