Tear died suddenly but peacefully on January 21st, 2002 aged 77 years, beloved widow of Deacon John, much loved mother of Judith, Diane, Dhil and partners and cherished grandmother of 9.

Greatly loved and admired by many and brave in the face of adversity over many years. The body has gone, but the spirit lives on in the light, free and joyful. Eileen will be received into St.Thomas Moore Roman Catholic Church on Friday, January 25th at 7.00pm.

There will be a full Requiem Mass on Saturday, January 26th at 10.00 am. followed by cremation at Gilroes. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Holme Project or The Y Advice and Support Centre c/o M.C.S. Funeral Service, 511 Welford Road, Leicester, Tel. 270 3111.
