Officer who died in a road accident

Died as a result of multiple injuries sustained in a road traffic accident on 5th August, while on surveillance duties in South East London, when his unmarked police motorcycle was in collision with a motor vehicle, which failed to stop. Nigel had joined the Metropolitan Police in 1981 after Cadet service and served at Kennington, South Norwood, 4 Area Crime OCU and SO11. He was survived by his wife and 5 year old twin son and daughter.
