22.06.2008 : steve woodward wrote I worked with Paul since he joined PWL. Paul was a genuine and commited person, he never complained about anything even when given some of the boring jobs. The only thing that Paul wanted to do was pass selection and when he did he never bragged about it,he just carried on as normal.
One lasting memory of Paul is when he cycled 20 miles to work, a few of us would be stood outside and Paul would stop and he looked like he had cycled 20 yards not 20 miles, he'd give us his cheeky smile say good morning then get changed and do a days work before cycling home.
Paul your a true hero.
Never forgotten.

22.06.2008 : Helen Carroll wrote My husband Tommy was good friends with Paul...he used to tell me all the antics he and the other lads, Chris, Turbo, Robbo, Sheepie et al, used to get up to.
He and all the lads are obviously gutted about what's happened, but it's brought them closer while they remember him.
RIP Paul and our sympathy and support go out to his wife and children xx

25.06.2008 : ANNE / TREVOR BARTON wrote Paul worked for my husband Trevor Barton at Professional Witnesses Limited in Manchester.

Trevor and I found Paul to be a very nice bloke and we had a great respect for his talents both at work and for his courage in deciding to take a full time career with the S.A.S.

Paul was a lovely lad as is his brother Adam who also works for P.W.L.

Paul said to me before he left for Afganistan take care of Adam and I can assure you I will do just that.

Sleep peacefully Paul you will always be remembered.

Kind Regards, Trevor and Anne Barton.
