SQUIRES On September 22nd 2008, George Francis, aged 99 years, formerly of Scott Road and lately of Woodland Villas Nursing Home. The much loved and respected uncle of Arthur and Ida Ward of Hastings, Sussex. George was the last remaining member of his immediate family and was a Royal Marine Bandsman for thirty three years, of which twenty were spent in the Plymouth Division.
