SQUARE (Elliot Square) John Joseph Elliot died peacefully on December 2nd 2005 aged 82 after a courageous fight against cancer. Officer in 48 Commando Royal Marines, Sicily, D Day landings and Egypt, Service with Royal Malay Regiment. Mentioned in dispatches. Awarded American Bronze Star. Beloved husband of the late Barbara, and much loved father of Richard, Anthony and Susie, grandfather and great-grandfather.
