Remembering Jackie Speight who died on 5 September, 2008, at the age of 62.

Jackie was the mother of television presenter Mark Speight who committed suicide in April.

Mrs Speight, a former art teacher, was found dead at her home in Wolverhampton by her youngest son Jason.

Her former husband, Oliver Speight, said he thought it was possible the stress of Mark's death was to blame.

Less than a month before her death, Mr and Mrs Speight had stood side by side at St Paul's Church in Covent Garden at a memorial service for their son on what would have been his 43rd birthday.

A neighbour told the Sun: "It's come as a complete shock. She died very suddenly. She had been battling to come to terms with what happened to Mark."
