Peacefully, at Cochrane Care Home, Johnstone, Renfrewshire, on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, John (Jack), aged 92 years, beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) deceased, loving father to his three Maries and much loved by his nine grandchildren. Requiem Mass, on Monday, February 7, 2005, at St. Margarets R.C. Church, Johnstone, at 10.00 a.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at Pluscardon Abbey, near Elgin, Moray, with 8.45 a.m. Mass. John Slevin was formerly Head Master of St Peters R.C. School, Nelson Street, Aberdeen, from 1956-1973.
