04.07.2009 : Andy Stanley wrote Henry - I do not think you will remember me but you would certainly know my name- Andy Stanley. My father played with you in several of Brass Bands and also you probably played in the same bands as my Grandfather also named Andy Stanley. My father always spoke very fondly of you and your dedication. He frequently talked about you playing the post horn gallop at Filbert Street after the war. I am a keen City fan and it was a joy to see you play in more recent years. Our paths crossed when my kids played with Loughbough Band under Bud Fisher and your involvement with themA very sad goodbye to a great man. Request removal
