18.09.2008 : alison barton wrote Have spent a great deal of time thinking about what to say about this inspirational young man. I met Neil at Belper School three years ago, he was in my ICT class. I don't think in my career as a teacher I have ever met someone who had such a quiet determination to succeed and a real talent for computers and computing. He was a credit to himself, his family and those who surrounded and supported him.

There is a saying that you never forget a good teacher in Neil's case I will never forget an excellent student.
