Scaife In memory of a dear dad who passed away April 1st 2000.
It was the morning of April 1st,
Not quite noon, just half past eleven,
When a big close, families bubble burst,
It was your turn, dad, to go to heaven,
You suffered, but never did show the pain.
For two years you had your ups and downs,
But always a smile whether sunshine or rain,
For family and friends in near and far towns,
You never had cancer, cancer got you,
However hard you fought, it was just not hard enough,
Now you are at peace and have moved on,
To your pastures new,
But until we meet again dad,
Life is just so tough.
Love you always. Rachel, Paul and Ann xxx
