28.09.2008 : Justin Hansford wrote Martin was a very special friend of mine who encouraged me through my wrestling career. I often travelled with him to shows and had the task of keeping him fed from a colossal bag of food by his side! He had a very dry sense of humour and often had the dressing rooms howling with laughter with some of his "pearls of wisdom" I for one miss him very much as i'm sure lots of the wrestling fraternity do too. He was a character who brightened up our lives but he was not to be messed with! I have so many stories of him most of which couldn't be printed but one special one was the sight of him asleep in the dressing rooms with my then baby son Adam (now 21) also asleep in his arms whilst i was in the ring. He will always be a hero to me and i miss him very much.
