24.10.2007 : Javier Garcia wrote Raven was an extraordinary nice man, i exchanged some personal e-mails with him and he was really a very gentle and funny man, he used to ask me for some spanish words or some mexican food to practice and surprise his mexican friends in LA. While i never met him in person he was the only member of Killing Joke who i've "talked to" ever, and he was a true gent. All my love, respect and best wishes to Raven's family.

24.10.2007 : Tim Pullen wrote This is very sad news indeed. Ive been following Kjoke since 1982 and have seen many a performance with Raven on bass, the punchuness that no other bassist could muster, the attitude to fit into the Kjoke band.

07.06.2008 : Alan Smead wrote I had the pleasure of witnessing the bassmeister Raven twice; with Pigface in 1992 and with Ministry in 2006. That crazy low end kept the whole juggernaut rollin' along at both shows. I remember at the Pigface show, he came onstage during the second or third song after being introduced by En Esch and the whole pit surged forward as if by an invisible force. Unfortunately I didn't get to see him with Killing Joke, that being in 1994 with Youth. R.I.P. Paul Raven.
