PEARS Mavis Sarah, Mutti. It was on a Friday that they came, They took you to ease their pain, But left us with such remorse, At first, we could not think clear, 'Til we sat and thought it through, They need you, as we all do. Now you're back with Dad, We are the ones that should be glad, We have the dreams and the memories too, Are we the selfish ones, just to want you. We know we're not the best of kids, We gave you lots of grief and stress, But you always sorted out our mess. We know how you suffered, with the lots of losses, We now know how hard it was, To lose someone that we all love. Mum, you will know by now, You leave behind an impossible task, For us to be liked, and loved, like you, Is just too much to ask. We all must stop this chatter, And go on to another matter, Say hello to them up there, They have you now, to love and cherish, We have each other, a close knit team, Be proud of this, you made it, if you know what we mean. God bless you Mum. Love you forever, your babies. Always in our hearts. Stephen, Esta, Wayne, Carol, Gayle, Gary, Jan and Henry.
