07.09.2007 : 3pa¢ Piru Smith wrote Just 2 hear his voice would give you chills up & down your spine, having the hairs on your arms stand up in chills. What a great, & marvelous tone of voice that he has. Just 2 know & have some kind of thought that he's in Heaven now, singing spiritual & powerful hymns. So much talent & potential that he had, & so much that he has/had accomplished in his life of the deeds with charity & humanitarian works as well as his achievements throughout his music career. May the beloved Luciano Pavarotti Rest in Heavenly Peace.

07.09.2007 : Anna Massingham wrote I will always remember Luciano for his outstanding voice, his contribution to music and how polite and kind he was when I won backstage passes to meet him. I will always love and cherish his music and his passion for life. Love always. Anna

07.09.2007 : Peter Hunter wrote I saw this great man just once live, at 'Pavarotti in the Park', Hyde Park, London. He was well past his best, but still able to captivate an immense crowd. For me, he ranks alongside Caruso, Gigli and DiStefano as the greatest tenors of the 20th century. He will be sadly missed, but we can still remind ourselves of his wonderful voice through the rich legacy of his recordings. Rest in peace dear Luciano, you brought so mych joy to so many people in your lifetime.

07.09.2007 : Angela Arroliga wrote Despite safety concerns, Pavarotti agreed to perform on June 12, 1999 in Beirut, Lebanon, his first ever concert in an Arab country, and all proceeds were donated to benefit charities in Lebanon. As a condition to performing, the government of Lebanon had to suspend all flights in or out of nearby Beirut International Airport (BIA) because of noise since the flight pattern was directly overhead of the Cite Sportive stadium venue. But half-way through his performance, the stadium shook from a fly-over of a jet. Pavorotti just waited for the jet landing unfazed, and began again to give an excellent show.

08.09.2007 : Ricardo Iriarte wrote What else can be said about the best singer of all times that hasn?t been said already? Like he said himself once: "I think a life in music is a life beautifully spent and this is what I have devoted my life to". He exceeded every limit, he sang with his soul, he made us remember that opera is not death yet and won?t be soon, he made us dream, laugh and cry with his heavenly voice. Requiescat in pace. Addio, Maestro! Ci vediamo lass?!

08.09.2007 : José Filipe Sepúlveda da Fonseca wrote I still remember the moment when my attention was firstly grasped by Pavarotti’s magnificent voice that couldn't leave anyone indifferent. It was during a TV programme broadcasted on Xmas Eve at the Portuguese RTP in the 80's, when Pavarotti sang Xmas Carols in a Church in Canada accompanied by a boys' choir. Since then I have closely accompanied his career. I am sure that Pavarotti's memory will last forever to all the people who are passionate for classical and popular music, through his many recordings and also through the remembrance of live shows done over more than four decades.

09.09.2007 : Martina Rees wrote What can i add to all the wonderful tributes to a truly spectacular man, the best tenor this world has known in my eyes. I have a film he made called "Yes Georgio " it is a heart wrenching film and one i will treasure always. You will be sadly missed sweet man. Requiesticat et pace

12.09.2007 : Sean Tierney wrote Having spent most of my life as a 'military man' around the world for almost 50 years after countless moments of 'activities' that I needed to forget, I always sought solace in listening to the voices of initially Franco Corelli and then Luciano Pavarotti as well. I am terribly saddened that both of them have gone to a 'better place'. "We will not hear their like again"...they were both superb exponents of the art of Tenor singing and this World is a a poorer/sadder place for it. Requiescant in Pace. God bless and rest you both. Sean Tierney. 07.09.2007.

26.09.2007 : Elaine Mastronardi wrote Cara Maestro, Grazia Assai! Senza te, il mondo di musica, e piu piccolo. Senza il tuo sorriso e carisma, il mondo e piu triste. Riposa in pace, Elaine Mastronardi

09.10.2007 : Paula ellen wrote I saw Luciano Pavarotti 1983, at Sam Goody's in New York USA to sign his newest album at the time, I thought I have to see him! I saw him taking photos with a lot of families then it was my turn I went up to him I told him "You have the most beautiful voice!" He said "Gracias!" He had such a wonderful personality, he signed my record and the man who worked at the store took a photo of me with him. I am so thankful I got to see him.

06.01.2008 : John McCutcheon wrote The death of Luicano Pavarotti is a sad loss to all in this world and a true gain for all Angels in Heaven. He will be missed like Beethoven and Mozart. I was hoping to pen some music for him as I was for Princess Diana before she sadly died. Sing away Pavarotti, sing to the stars.
