Died in 2008

OXLEY - FRANK Passed away at the Q.M.C., on Saturday, 13th September 2008, aged 85. photo Frank, a former Warrant Officer in the Royal Air Force, served his country in the Second World War. Dearly loved husband, you leave behind treasured memories of 61 wonderful years together. With tearful eyes I watched you suffer and saw you fade away, although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay, when I shut my eyes I see you and you seem to smile and say, "Don't cry I'm in God's keeping, we'll meet again someday". The time has come to say, "All my love, goodnight and God bless". Your loving wife Beryl. Dear father, in life we loved you dearly, in our hearts you hold a place that no one else can fill. Memories of you will be our keepsakes, with which we'll never part, God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts. All our love, Jeff and Glenis. Dear Grandad, one like no other, good memories and greatest gift of all was to have had a grandad like you. God bless. Craig and Donna, great-grandchildren, Daniel and Georgea. Paul, Natalie and Arron. COME WITH ME The Lord saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come with me". With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and saw you fade away, although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, a beautiful smile at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only take the best. Daughter Margaret, son-in-law Derek, grandchildren and great-grandchild. It's lonely here without you, we miss you so each day, our lives are not the same since you went away. When days are sad and lonely and everything goes wrong, we seem to hear you whisper, "Cheer up and carry on". Each time we see your picture, you seem to smile and say, "Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping, we'll meet again some day". Son Roger and Yvonne, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. xxxxxxxxxxxx Funeral service will take place at St Mary's Church, Ilkeston on Tuesday, 23rd September at 12.30, followed by cremation at Bramcote Crematorium.
