A son is someone to be proud of, Someone you admire and love, A son makes you feel alive, Like a beautiful soaring dove, A son always makes you smile and laugh, In times of sadness, A son is always there by your side, Filling your heart with gladness, Wayne was all of these things, A son I love with all my heart, And it makes my life feel empty, That we have to be apart, But I know that one day, We will be joined together once more, Smiling, laughing and joking, Just as we always did before.
