Officer who died in the line of duty.

Killed in a motorcycle accident while travelling to report for duty at Tonbridge when she lost control of her machine and was then struck by a car at Goudhurst. Katie had more than 10 years police service and was stationed at Tonbridge. She held a degree from Leeds University and was a volunteer worker with the Wildlife Heritage Foundation. She is survived by her parents and was their only child.
