MABLETHORPE Barbara The funeral service for Barbara Maplethorpe, aged 68 years. Who died suddenly, will be held on Wednesday 8th August, 2007, at St Michael's and All Angels Church, Billinghay at 1.00pm followed by cremation at Lincoln Crematorium. She leaves loving husband Leonard, son Doug, daughters Gwen, Belinda and Edwina, son-in-laws John, Paul and Chris, daughter-in-law Bridget, grandchildren Tristan, Jackson, Tom, Jake and Cailtlin. Brothers Doug and Charlie and sisters Fay and Wendy. Born in Saxilby she moved around the county before marrying and living in Billinghay as a farmer's wife at Grange Farm. Barbara was a keen tennis and badminton player in younger years before starting to play bridge progressing to county level.
