Edward P. Jeffree, B.Sc. (Lond.), D.Sc. (Abdn), born April 23, 1908, died June 12, 2004, aged 96. Head of the Bee Research Department at the North of Scotland College of Agriculture, Aberdeen, Lecturer in Biology at Hull College of Education, Head of Science at Avery Hill College of Education. Edward is survived by Daphne, his wife of 62 years and his sons Christopher, Martin, Peter and Anthony. Memorial meeting for worship at Sidcot Quaker Meeting House, Friday, June 25, at 2.45.
