Officer who died as a result of enemy action

Leslie Jackson, a Police War Reserve Constable with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Police, died 5 June 1943, aged 33, as a result of enemy action during an air raid at Loggerheads.

Leslie was a married man. It is not known if he was on duty during the air raid.
