Officer who died in the line of duty.

Killed in a road traffic accident whilst travelling to report for dutyat Exmouth when his motorcycle was in collision with a van near Ottery St Mary, Devon. Paul was appointed to the Force in August 1996 following service as a Special Constable; he was stationed at Exmouth where he was a Neighbourhood Beat Team Leader. He is survived by his partner of 13 years, a serving officer, who is expecting their first child.
