08.04.2008 : abim e adefule wrote Sir you brought the best to all who watched all the movies you appeared. You gave God's words a meaning to me and am sure to many others too. I just can not fine enough good words to qurlify you. You are the greatest actor that ever lived on this earth as they don't make them any more like you.
I pray for your soul to rest in peace and May our Lord be with you, Forgive you of whatever sin and now that you are in Heaven you now have peace where no more pain but full joy.
I pray for your wife for God to stregthen her and make her strong with the rest of the family. Sleep well Sir you deserve it. Psalm 23. Go well a world hero go well go well

08.04.2008 : Stacy Lincoln wrote I had the wonderful oppportunity to meet Mr. Heston at a TV station I worked for in Phoenix a few years ago. I was in awe. I thought I would know what to say to him, but then had no words. He truely commanded that much respect.
I teared up upon reading of his death. He is, to me, the last of the great actors. Ben Hur is the best movie ever made. It is a masterpiece.
Mr. Heston was gracious, placed ME in the right position for our photo....and signed some things for me. I will cherish these forever.
I cannot wait to see him in Heaven one day. I know he's already there rejoicing.
Blessings to the entire Heston family.

01.06.2008 : SAVINDER DHADLI wrote I have no word when it comes to describing his beauty as a man. No rival. In one of his film he wore light yellow or chocolate coloured suit an dhad a pony tail and hsi voice was so delicate as if he had manufactured it especially for that film.
he killed that servant woman when he just had a quick glance at her in that film called as Ben-Hur and she had said,
"If there was no bride to be, there would be then no separations"

The servant woman stayed unmarried to waite for Charlton Heston.
I liked his voice an dhis face too.
That man was my hero untill you told me that he is english by birth.
You spiled all my mood as I had pictured that he was from Norway or Swedon etc.

But I was too sorry that he had died.
God is very cruel.
Life is a very crule thing.
Dieing is the only reality while living is not even a real thing.

11.06.2008 : Chas Todd wrote Charlton Heston was my favourite actor of all time. I've seem many of his films and liked the way he portrayed the characters he played.

In his films, he played stong courageous men with just a touch of vulnerabilty and mortality (many of the characters he played died, just like him in real life).

I feel a sadness at his death, but think he had a wonderful and fulfilled life and was a real man.

I will always love his memory and feel privileged to have known him, if only through his films.

He was one hell of a man and if I was half the man he was I'd be proud of myself.

17.06.2008 : rosalyn cheung wrote Who can follow you!? I don't think anyone can
answer that, not even you if you were ever asked. My memories are of a man that whatever role you played it was guaranteed
to excite and delight your followers. I can't remember the first time I saw you it's so long ago. But what I do remember is I made sure I saw your films. No one could surpass you whether you played husband or lover. I feel you made every woman feel it was them you were making love to. You put your full being into every role. I adored you in the Ten Commandments. You made that your very own. Ben Hur a repeat could never be made. But who would want one! No one could fill your shoes ever. A remarkable person as you are surely missed. My prayers are with you always. I take great comfort in knowing I can rerun your films over and over again. A broken-hearted fan. Roz.

29.06.2008 : bryan hewitt wrote Charlton Heston was an inspiration to me from my adolescence to the day he died. He will remain so till the day I die.....

I did not agree with his politics , but his stage and screen presence struck a chord with me and to this fan he was undeniably not only a great actor , but a man of the highest integrity.I saw is plays when he came to London and I had the honour to meet him twice and have a photo with him which is priceless to me.

Now that Charlton is gone there are plenty of stars left but very few GREAT actors.

God Bless You CH and Thank you !

05.07.2008 : Ray Hinton wrote Ex british soldier, served all over the world, i cried when i heard you had passed, men like you are very few, you made my life, and that of millions of others, richer, you can never be replaced, im honoured to have been around to see your talent, and magnificent presence.

08.08.2008 : michael brady wrote I am 40 years old and for all of my life i can remember your films , ben hur is what you will be most remembered for but for me it will be 55 days at peking , i loved you in that film playing the us cavarly officer next to david niven thanks for those movies you left us god bless you and may god bless your family rest in peace !

19.08.2008 : Susan Lee wrote Charlton Heston will always depict historical characters. I particularly thought his best portrayal was as Rodrigo the Cid. I regularly view the film 'El Cid' each time it is televised in England -needless to say, I own my own DVD copy as well !
I would be glad to pass on my condolences to his family. He will be sorely missed - but will always remain in everyone's memory as his screen roles especially will remain forever.

18.09.2008 : tracey whittaker wrote I remember that he was my father's favourite actor and i grew up to love and admire him more than my father ever did!

28.11.2008 : Arman Roshdi wrote Mr. Charlton Heston shaped my life and character. I saw him in Ben-Hur when I was 8. Through this film, I got to know our Lord Jesus Christ. I was so impressed when Judah Ben-Hur before the cross, was looking at him, full of admiration, his eyes full of tears. I loved Mr. Heston so much that when I heard the sad news, I mourned for days, as if I had lost a parent. But I know I may have the honour to see him in heaven. May God bless his soul. Dear Mr. Heston, please accept all my sincere tributes.
