Father-of-one who died suddenly at home

Dale Hayden, a 24-year-old father of one, died suddenly at his home in Swansea on 18 August, 2008.

Neighbours paid tribute to Mr Hayden, of Powys Avenue, Townhill, and expressed their sympathy with the family. Sylvia Shawes said: "It is very, very sad. We didn't know him personally, but we know his mother and father more. They are a very nice family. It is heartbreaking for them. Our hearts go out to them. It is such a shame."

Michael Davies said: "Dale had three brothers and a sister. He was very quiet. My thoughts are with his family."

Andrew Davies said: "He was a lovely fellow. Nobody has anything bad to say about him."

A friend said Dale, who is understood to have had a young daughter, had been playing with her on the Saturday before he died.

Friends posted tributes on the South Wales Evening Post’s website. Richard Brown said: "Can’t believe a true gentleman like Dale’s gone. It wasn't your time mate. Dale wasn't just a true friend. He was someone to look up to in life. My heart goes out to his family and remember he'll always be here in memory and soul. We love you Dale, R.I.P Mate."

Gareth Dutton said: "Dale was a good man who always had time for a laugh. Send my sympathy out to his (family) and friends. Dale you will be missed by many. R.I.P my friend."

Philip Morgan said; "Rip Dale, you will be sorely missed by all."

Mr Hayden’s brother, Lewis Milward, also posted a message on the site, saying: "Thanx for being a good brother and I will miss you. R.I.P big brother."
