Scottish footballer Bobby Dougan died on 7 February, 2010, aged 83.
He was a one-time international but best known for playing at centre-half for Hearts and Kilmarnock in the 1940s and ’50s.
Dougan joined Hearts from Shawfield Juniors in 1946. He adapted from wing-half to centre-half and made his debut in August 1947.
During his seven and a half years with Heart he helped them to a third place league finish in 1949/50 and a Scottish Cup semi-final in 1953. He was picked for Scotland in a friendly against Switzerland in April 1950.
He also played three times for the Scottish Football League.
In December 1954 he joined Kilmarnock for £4,300 after playing 125 league games for Hearts.
He spent five seasons at Kilmarnock before hanging up his boots at the end of the 1959/60 campaign.
