09.10.2008 : michelle munroe wrote Firstly I would like to send my deepest condolences to the de Gale family and friends.

When I heard the news this morning I can't tell you how much my heart sank and the tears kept falling from my eyes. Of course I know that I can not experience the same pain you must be feeling at this time, but I want you to know that Daniel was a gift from God and came here to acomplish a mission in which he did suceed. Without him we (the black community) would still be in the dark about Leukemia. He made it possible for the black community to become more involved in giving blood and stopped the stigma attached to it.

Your son was a beautiful boy who matured into a beautiful man. He had such charisma and charm. I remember that adorable smile.

God bless you and your family.

Daniel you shall be in our hearts forever.

Stay blessed
Michelle Munroe X

09.10.2008 : Joi Edwards wrote So sad to read about Daniel's passing on my mobile. We offer our sincere condolences to Beverley & Orin. Met you all in London about 9 years ago campaigning for the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust. Daniel was not a teenager yet. Daniel was a courageous young man and such an inspiration to all, both young and old. May his soul rest in peace, he's done his best, he was a shining light.

09.10.2008 : Gail Richardson wrote Daniel made such a difference to the number of donors on the register. My daughter sadly died before the influx started, I wondered sometimes if it could have been different.
My heart goes out to Daniel's family and friends - this is a pain no parent should ever have to feel, especially as they have already been through so much. Believe as I do, our Angels will watch over us always until we meet again. They are only a whisper away. God bless and keep you

09.10.2008 : Roy Jordan-Nicholls wrote We were so shocked and devastated to find that your beautiful, brilliant, brave and courageous son has passed away. On behalf of my wife Karen and myself we pray that God overwhelms you with all his love and comforts you all throughout your lives.

The reasons why were so devastated at your son's death are that we had the privilege to have met you, your family and Daniel at your charity event in 2003, and you gave me the opportunity to become a bone marrow donor. I was honoured. This gave me the desire to give back to our community because of the love, passion, focus and determination displayed, to do whatever it took to give your son the best opportunity to live a full life. We commend you for this.

We know that God would have said to Daniel "WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT".

May GOD be with you and your family. May GOD be with everyone whom you, Daniel and your family has touched the lives since the time you launched this "Wonderful and Unique" Charity.

May you continue to be blessed; allowing GOD to comfort you forever.

Lots of love

Roy & Karen Jordan-Nicholls xxx

09.10.2008 : Geoff Salt wrote What a brave kid although he probably didn't see himself as brave. We are often too quick to judge young people. Yes, there are some bad kids but they are far outweighed by people like Daniel. My heart goes out to his parents and family. To lose a child is terrible. I've just watched theninterview on tonight's ITV local news. His Mum & Dad have such dignity. Daniel will live on in their hearts. I wish them every good wish for the success of the trust and hope they can find peace and consolation in their lives.

09.10.2008 : Venessa Brown wrote To Bev and family,

My daughter who was of mixed race needed a bone marrow donor. Beverly and Orin were there for us with their incredible drive and compassion. I will be forever greatful for this.

Thank you for trying to save my girl in your son's name. I am so so very sorry that you have joined me in grief for our children.

May they be together waiting for us to join them one day.

09.10.2008 : Lawrence Jones wrote Deepest condolences to the De Gale family.
I attended a few events raised by Orin and have grown to admire his strength and determination to put the point across to us all, regarding becoming donors.

Daniel was truly an inspiration to us all and I hope he rests peacefully at the right hand of the father Jesus Christ, as he is truly a saint that has left us.

My wife Judith and I are truly saddened by Daniels passing on and would like to let the De Gale family know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.

God bless you.

Lawrence Jones
