01.05.2008 : Sherry B wrote 'Uncle Paul, was on my Aunt' Ilene's label Bang Records. We may not have been related by blood but we were by his heart! He actually was living in Alpharetta, Georgia when he had those hits on Bang. He lived in Atlanta for many years. My aunt moved the her label from NYC to Atlanta at the beginning of the 70's and he stayed there into the mid 80's before moving to Nahville where he had a beautiful farm there and where he did lots of his writing before retiring a few years ago to Meridian. He recently started writing and recorded a few songs before he died.

He was the most loving, caring person I ever met. Never a bad word to say about anyone, and would talk to anyone, he never forgot who he was or where he came from. He stayed true, never caught up in any moment. He was the greatest human being I ever knew and feel so proud to have been able to have him as part of our family and be able to have him ask me to call him 'Uncle Paul'. He was a lovng father to his son Jonathan! RIP
