Officer who died during an air raid

Police Fireman Frederick Davies died on 13 March, 1941, aged 28.

He was killed with two other police firemen as a result of enemy action during an air raid at Meads Wharf, Lime Street, Kingston-upon-Hull.

Frederick was appointed to the Force on 16 June, 1936; he was a married man.
