02.08.2008 : Amos Peek wrote Peter in his guise as Paul Temple was eagerly awaited every week on the radio and "By Timothy" was the expression used in my junior school. It was an important part of my life. I still have all his recored Paul Temples and 50 years later they finish my day. Peter I have been a fan all my life and you will be missed.

was easier and more commonly spoken.
Peter and Marjory made their married characters totally convincing and loveable. They were by turns, charming, exciting, humorous, tough, caring and "cool"; and their voices were so enjoyable and unique, that they could have read a telephone directory, and I would still have been totally fascinated.
