01.01.2009 : Bill Reid wrote Such a lovely lady who made a personal impact in every film peformance. Also came over as a very genuine in her personal appearances in film tributes such as That's Entertainment and other DVD disc extras. I was a great admirer of her as a person and a performer.

We have lost so many musical and dance stars from the great film musicals and losing Cyd feels like the end of a era of which we are not likely to ever see again.

I hope that there is a heaven where such great talant continues dancing on into eternity.
