Remembering football legend Tommy Burns who died this week.
The League and Cup-winning Scottish footballer had battled against cancer for two years.
Tommy made more than 350 appearances in midfield for Celtic during the 1970s and ’80s, scoring 52 goals.
He also helped the club to win six league championships and four Scottish Cups.
Furthermore he won eight caps for Scotland and spent five years with Kilmarnock where his management career began.
The Association of Celtic Supporters’ Clubs was quick to pay tribute to Tommy. Secretary Peter Rafferty said: "He was a very nice person, a very religious person. If you needed anything, Tommy Burns would always be there for you."
