It is hard to put into words what a truly wonderful human being my gran was. Everybody who knew her would back me up. When she left this life a great void was left in all the people's lives that she touched, but her memory will always live on for her friends and family. I will never be able to repay the kindness and love she showed me and wish that I had said and done more before time ran out. Things that were important to my gran were her family, the church and just enjoying the things in life which were free. She never asked for much, was happy as long as her family and friends were near and they were happy. At the time of her death she was suffering from Alzheimer's disease and it was hard to see such an independent lady change in such a way, first small changes but getting progressively worse. Nevertheless the family provided 24 hour care for her and at the time of her death at home she was surrounded by those she loved. I love and miss you gran, rest in peace with grandad.
