20.01.2010 : Stuart Jones wrote I knew Martin for quite a few years; he was a family friend and actually gave me my first job working at Nature First. He was I think one of those chaps who could turn his hands to most things. He was one of the people who inspired me to take up helicopter flying. I can remember once getting lost flying over Stratford upon Avon with him and also having to save the helicopter when a cow decided to try and eat the tail rotor. He liked playing the odd practical joke once placed a metal bar against an electric fence and then asked me to fetch it, which I did Doh! (I was only 16 give me a break).Anyone who ever achieved anything and thus inspired others usually will have done so with some risk. This challenge was, I guess, no exception. That it went wrong at such an early stage was a real shame but of no consequence to the spirit required to undertake it. With a little more luck he was the kind of guy that could have achieved the journey if anyone could. I personally will remember him for that. Stuart Request removal

21.01.2010 : Jenny Harris wrote Mark and I first met Martin about 5 years ago on a Fly-UK Microlight challenge . I say challenge because to me that's what I thought it would be, lots of hours flying which is something I hadn't done before. It was fantastic and we had a great time, lot of laughs (and some tears), and we all became good friends. When I spoke to Martin about Australia, he told me this was to be "his greatest adventure yet".He was so enthusiatic about his journey and the good he wanted to do.Whenever we ended our conversations we never said "goodbye" at the end, just "speak to you soon". It was something we always said.We will miss Martin and our thoughts are with his family. No goodbye's Martin, just see you another time my friend.Bomber and Jenny Harris Request removal

Martin Bromage was not one of these people .Martin was a moutain man , he ventured where others feared to tread . Martin was an adventurer he pushed the limits of what he was capable of achieving . He was a quiet man ,genuinely kind and thoughtful towards others ,a special friend , I could never understand why he would choose me as one of his friends but I was honoured and secretly proud that he did. His passing leaves a great sadness in my heart and I will never forget his easy smile , quiet strength and humanity. He will be sadly missed ,god bless Martin . Request removal
