Corinne Brady

Stanton Hill, Nottinghamshire | Died in 2009

Colleagues of Corinne Brady, who died on 1 June, 2009, led the tributes to the fun-loving teenager after she fell from a quad bike.

Staff at the Fox and Crown pub in Skegby where she had worked since the previous September told the Nottingham Evening Post they were devastated by her death.

Manager Jon Priddle said: "She was the epitome of a fun-loving 19-year-old girl. She was very caring and loved life. She made an impact on everybody's lives, she was that sort of person.

"She was loved by everybody without a doubt. This is the saddest thing I think I've ever known in my life. It's devastated everybody.

"She will be sadly missed by all the team and everyone else associated with the pub."

Outside the pub, staff and customers lay floral tributes under a tree.

One note, from Gemma, read: "You were always there for everyone and always up for a laugh, whether it be at work or in town with your ridiculously high heels and mad costumes.

"That podium will never be right again without us dancing in it."

Another note from Sammi said: "It's so horrible being at work knowing that you are never going to walk through that door again. I will miss the crazy nights out in Mansfield."

Your Memories

From day to day i think of you and all the things we shared,
For you always showed in many ways how much u really cared

You are someone i could depend on, to be there
but now your gone and i dont know where

I miss you more than words can say
but i know your here in your own way

I talk to you and share my thoughts
with all my tears that i have fought

The feelings within my heart that i cannot mend
For there is no pain like losing your best friend

Love always xx
