07.03.2008 : Ian Donovani wrote My family and I have known baz and family for 6 yrs, we met through our children who played together while camping, and have met up every year since in somerset for a week and more if we could arrange, and it would be like we had seen each other yesterday (even if it had been a year/6 months) and the first thing to do after setting up would be shop and set up the BBQ,have a beer and talk about who was going to catch the biggest fish on the beach, (he loved fishing)he often spoke about his life in the RAF,and the stories that came with it, he loved life and he loved his family,we only ever knew him as baz on holiday not the brave man in the uniform. Looking at the picture now while typing this I cant believe we will never see this wonderful man again, a truly great man who we and others will miss more than words can say. 01.04.2008 : Jude McAlister wrote I worked with Baz for about 3 years at PTC Innsworth - he was the driver; I was the PA. I knew his family well; the girls from Brownies. I was deeply shocked to learn of his death today; even more surprised that I learnt of it so late but I don't watch the news. The tributes are in no way exaggerated - he was a good guy through and through. My deepest sympathies to Sharon and the girls. He will be greatly missed by all. Jude McAlister Request removal

Maybe they are wrong ? but that has nothing to do with the men and women of our armed services, they do what they are told to do, they serve our country with honour and should be thanked. I am just a humble citizen of the UK , but my thanks go out to Duane , thank you my hope is that you are now in a place where war is a thing of the past, and that you are now living a peaceful life. 20.02.2009 : Paula Barwood wrote Well, it is almost a year since we lost my brother Duane. There is not a day that goes by that we don't remember him. He is always in our hearts and minds. He was a fantastic big brother. It is still hard to believe that he is gone. When we were growing, he used to be so patient. He always had time for his 'little sister'. I miss him very much, but I am glad that I have so many happy memories of him. Request removal
