01.05.2008 : D Donner wrote As long as Syd's music is still heard, he will continue to be a shining diamond. I was always a Floyd fan but never really knew too much about Syd or the enormous influence he had. I have since become quite a fan, albeit a bit late.

I pray that Syd is happy and finally at peace. I'm sure this "madcap" is jamming away in heaven.

02.10.2008 : james kavanagh wrote I wasnt born back then so i guess not memories but sinse i can remember i have listened to pink floyd coz of my parents and i love them i only recently like read about syd barrett and learned about him a few years ago and sinse then i think of pink floyd differently like how influential he was to them and how amazing an artist he was.
i have listened to his solo albums mad cap laughs and a few songs from barrett and they are still great in my opinion i dont care what other people think i do prefer him with pink floyd though its a shame what the lsd did to him.
