AVIS On June 18th the Reverend David Joseph Avis died peacefully at The Lodge Nursing Home, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joan and loving dad to Christopher, Denys and their families. A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held at the Southernhay U.R. Church on Friday July 4th at 3pm. Donations in lieu of flowers to Southernhay Church, c/o 37 Clifton Road, Exeter. EX1 2BN., or by retiring collection at the Service.
